Basic needs include food, water, warmth, rest, security, and safety. Although the small group at Lindsley Avenue Church cannot provide a solution to all of these needs, we strive to provide one morning a week that all who worship with us can enjoy these rights. Our worship space is safe from the elements, secure from the problems of the streets, an opportunity to rest both body and spirit, and a chance to receive a meal, a bottle of water and a set of clean clothes. Most importantly, it is a time to fellowship with other believers and learn more about God’s love and grace and His will for our lives.
